Why voiceprints deserve a direct answer

A voiceprint is the representation of your voice that lets a tool recognise you across recordings. It identifies you personally, which makes it worth a specific answer from any vendor: what happens to it when you leave, and whether removing it takes a separate request. If a vendor’s documentation is silent on voiceprints, ask before you rely on the tool.

What happens the moment you delete your account

Account deletion starts from Profile in the Audria app. The moment you confirm, you are signed out everywhere, on iPhone and Mac alike, and notifications stop. There is no waiting period before access ends; the wait only applies to the final removal of data.

The 30 day grace window

For 30 days after you delete, signing back in restores your account intact. That window exists so a deletion made in haste, or by mistake, is recoverable. Once the 30 days complete, removal happens and it is permanent and irreversible.

What is removed

After the grace window completes, everything held under your account is removed: your conversations and transcripts, your stored audio, your voiceprints, and everything else Audria held for you. There is no separate request to make for the voiceprint. It is deleted with your account.

If you only want one conversation gone

You do not have to delete your account to remove a single conversation. Any memory can be deleted from its detail screen with a confirmation, leaving the rest of your history in place.

How do I delete my voiceprint from Audria?
